These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the mobile application ReefLog (the "App"), provided by the developer of ReefLog ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
ReefLog is an application for recording and visualizing water parameters (such as alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, phosphate, salinity, temperature, and pH) of saltwater and reef aquariums, and for setting related reminders. The App does not require account registration, and your records are stored locally on your device.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store terms (Apple App Store / Google Play).
All purchases and refunds are handled by the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) in accordance with its policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, please use the store's refund procedure:
Your records are stored locally on your device. We do not store your records on our servers. You are responsible for backing up your data (for example, using the App's CSV export feature or your device's backup functions). We are not liable for loss of data resulting from device loss, failure, deletion of the App, or otherwise.
The App provides record-keeping tools and general, informational target ranges based on common aquarium-keeping knowledge. It does not provide veterinary, biological, or other professional advice, and it does not guarantee the health, survival, growth, or coloration of any fish, corals, invertebrates, or other livestock. All decisions about the care of your aquarium and its inhabitants are your own responsibility.
