This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application ReefLog (the "App"), provided by the developer of ReefLog ("we," "us," or "our"), handles your information. We designed ReefLog to be private by default: no account is required, and your aquarium records stay on your device.

1. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is created by you and stored only on your device. We do not collect it, transmit it to our servers, or have access to it:

• Water parameter records (alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, phosphate, salinity, temperature, pH, etc.)
• Tank information and profile answers you provide during onboarding (tank type, livestock, goals, etc.)
• Photos you attach to your records
• Reminder and notification settings
• App preferences

This data is deleted when you delete the App, unless you have exported it yourself (e.g., via CSV export) or it is included in your device or OS-level backups (e.g., iCloud or Google backups, which are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies).

2. Purchase Information (RevenueCat)

The App uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. When you use the App, the following may be shared with RevenueCat for the purpose of validating and managing your purchases:

• A randomly generated anonymous app user ID (not your name or email)
• Purchase receipt data from the App Store or Google Play
• Basic device information (device model, OS version, app version, locale)

Payment processing itself is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive or store your credit card or payment details.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require or offer account registration.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information (unless you voluntarily email us for support).
